Charitable Gifts Funding The Future

Each November, Carberry and Area Community Foundation participates in the Endow Manitoba Giving Challenge. This challenge allows individuals and businesses to invest in the future of Carberry and North Cypress-Langford with an extra boost from The Winnipeg Foundation and the Manitoba government.
For every $5 donation made, up to a maximum of $10,000, to unrestricted/community funds at Carberry and Area Community Foundation during the giving challenge week in November, The Winnipeg Foundation and the Manitoba government will both add an additional $1. This means, donations are stretched by 40%!
This year, we are inviting businesses to help stretch community donations even further! Imagine the impact on our community if every $5 donation made was doubled by stretch funding! If you are interested in being a stretch funding partner, your business will receive a charitable donation tax receipt and will be included in our Giving Challenge promotions.
You are invited to partner at a flat rate, or make a contribution based on total donations received during the challenge. For example, if the total donations from the community equal $9000, and you chose to stretch up to $250, your contribution total would be $225. Please see page two for options.
In order to be included in our Giving Challenge promotions, we ask that you kindly express your interest by completing and returning the sponsorship form, prior to August 15, 2024.
Carberry and Area Community Foundation pools and invests donations, and only spends the income earned on these investments. This means, the foundation is able to provide grants to worthy organizations in Carberry and Area year after year. Your original donation is never spent, so your gift has a lasting effect on the community, forever!
